Any Euros out there got any thoughts/predictions on the champions league final. Should be fantastic, Liverpool might just pull it out the bag but Im thinking 3-1 milan.

I can't stand football personally but I know about this game because a friend who's life is that damn game won't stop talking about it. He's a liverpool supporter, it would be good to see it go to them, but it's unlikely.

this was the greatest final ever played in the history of mankind. i expected liverpool to get there arses kicked down the tracks of lalaland...how wrong i was.

picture this: its half time, liverpool are 3-0 down and i'm thinking: ****, this is embarasseing. so i went out and had a smoke thinking it was a doomed game. i come back in and see my brother watching tv, so i passingly ask him to check the score: "three three," he says. i went ****ing ape**** mate. no ****ing way could i believe this.

Dudek won it for 'em. respect to him, he was up against some nutty players. 3 goals pulled back in fifteen minutes though... i mean: F-CK!!!

Dude though Dudek was not that great. 2 really bad spills which on other occasions have led to Goals.

The save right at the death was good but the ball hit right at his hands and at that speed he didnt even react.

I enjoyed seeing him scuttle like a crab in penalties though.

he completely threw them in the penalties though. they didn't have a clue. he just played right on their nerves. looking back on it, milan should not have been foiled so easily.

he did let em down in the first half though. they just pushed righjt forwards and i reckon benitez told 'em to play the defensive during the second one...and somehow they ended up scoring three times in fifteen minutes i didn't catch liverpool's goals (the reason's written above), so am at a loss as to how they did it. i thogh they were getting butchered after the first half and didn't watch the second until fiften minutes in after they'd scored.

dudek reckoned he'd been inspired by the death of the pope. he's polish, a pretty ****ty goalie and now suddenly his team's come out of nowhere to wi the cup.

They scored the three goals by a number of things.

Firstly Gerrard scored first and got them really fired up.
Milan started to get twitchy.
And momentum really just sent everything bananas.

I think Milan should have rapped it up and dealt with the game.

But you know Liverpool showed the most heart out of anyone in the championship, and that counts for a hell off a lot.

Thats how South Korea can reach the smi finals. If a teams got the motivation and the never say die attitude, (Carragher is a great example) they can achieve so much.
