Alright, though a lot of people have squashed the rumor, this gave me the idea to present it to you guys and get your opinions.

There was a video leaked on the net that supposedly showed a virtual reality headset for nintendo's new gaming console, the Nintendo Revolution. Basically, it would be a modern version of their Virtual Boy venture, with the exception that technology has advanced a lot since VB came out. Not to mention there were mentions of utilizing your "right brain" by the VP's of Nintendo.

As a stoner, I was wondering...wouldn't this be the Stoner's console dream? Being high and playing Mario and actually "BEING" in the Mario World. Or becoming Link and trying to rescue the princess in the new Zelda game.

It's still uncertain what actually comprises up the 'Revolution' that Nintendo has up their sleeves.

However, what IS known is that the new console will be backwards compatible and have a downloadable catalogue of all the Nintendo games from the past 20 years. This reason alone has my curiosity piqued about purchasing the new console. Granted, there's always ROMS or actually playing it via the old console but...I like this idea and I like the possibilities of additional benefits of playing old games on the new console.

They are going to have WiFi built in and the ability for online play. So, imagine you and your friends duking it out in Mario Kart over a high speed connection, or you and your brother reliving the younger years playing Contra together over the internet.

Never did see the leaked video of the headset, but damn man that sounds cool. That'd be awesome. But I did read about older Nintendo games being on the system. That right there will sell. So many old games I have forgotten about. should be cool
