I absolutely love this game lol.
I love all marios, but this is by far my favourite.
I got it when I was 5 for the original nes, and I thought it was amazing lol, graphics, even though now the graphics are the worst part of the game.
Anyways, I had never actually beaten it until today (I borrowed this game that has several marios for my snes) and I finally kicked bowsers ass, and ive finally got that out of my system. Ive wanted to do that since I got it when I was 5 lol.

I think im going to get stoned and play them.
It has mario bros, 1, 2, and 3, and Super mario bros lost levels (basically like SMB1 except different levels)
and I also own the SMB with yoshi. I love that game stoned, the ghosts are pretty trippy when they flick their tongues.

Who else loves this game and other mario classics?

I love all NES classics

My dad bought an NES for my sister and I when I was three. I remember the day we got SMB 3 because I was freaking out about getting Contra instead or something. I was so pissed off my sister got to pick the game we got but within a week I was beating the game every single day and I did that for probably about a year straight. In fact I don't think I played anything else from the time SMB 3 came out until SNES came out. I was so obsessed with the game I knew what animal the emperor had been turned into in every world, the boss to every world, the way to unlock the secret coin ship, and every secret you can imagine. Now that I think about it, I think I beat the game so often because I used to whistle secret to go straight to the end a lot.

I used to be so much better at NES. I don't understand how I could get through games so easily and now I try to do it and it seems like it's impossible. If you REALLY like Mario then download ZSNESW if you have windows and then download super mario all stars + world and there you have the best collection of games ever found. Plus it gives super nintendo graphics to all the old mario games. Plus ZSNESW has a setting that totally takes the pixelization out of the games and almost uses anti-aliasing to smooth out all of the edges and everything goes from square to square with round edges...it's hard to describe.

Hmm.. yeah lol I knew about the whistles and all the bosses, but the first level (the foresty one) in bowsers land kept getting me.

As for emulators, I did play them all on my compy, but they weren't as good. Im not sure I can play them on here now either, my comp hates media..

If you used NESticle that's why. That emulator is popular for some reason but it sounds and plays like crap. If you don't have a gamepad you can get one for 10 or 20 dollars that will work for anything you need and then just download every game ever made I've got over 3000 SNES roms on my computer, every NES game ever made in any country, every N64 game ever made and until I deleted them I had the majority of the Genesis games. They all work like a dream as long as you have a gamepad.

Emulators run entirely off of your CPU unless you're talking 3D graphics. There should be very few conflicts with videocards/soundcards/etc. If you have a hard time getting them to work usually it's just a bad emulator or a bad ROM.

And go anywhere but Wal-Mart to get a gamepad because they're evil and their money goes into evil pockets. Best buy has a good selection but they're a little higher quality. I think my girlfriend got her gamepad at target for 12 dollars or something like that and we beat Banjo Kazooie using it If it works with Banjo it will work with anything on NES.
