I've tried playing it but the UI is just shit. I played Everquest for a couple years before I tried Runescape so my expectations were probably a little high but I just could never grasp how to speak to other people and move around. Those things shouldn't be something that adds to the challenge of the game and that was the only challenge I came across. But it is free so I can't complain at all. It's just not right for me, that's all.

I played RuneScape for awhile, still have a guy on it. Pretty stacked with items too.

Never played runescape.. Did however play a lot of UO back in the day. After all of the features of UO and free public shards, I couldn't really justify playing runescape long enough to figure out the UI.

UO = what started them all Pretty much the very first graphical MMORPG... Visually it's similar to runescape. It costs around $10 / month to play on the official servers if I remember correctly. It's got WAY more features and is a much better game, IMO. There are like 8 or 9 expansions for it, and you can pick up the base game + all expansions pretty cheap.

In my opinion the coolest part is that you can build your own house... There are lots of different pre-made house templates, but you can also design it yourself like in The Sims.

Great game, I just don't have time for it anymore.
