Modern RPG

Anybody else think it would be badass to have a game somewhat similar to The Elder Scrolls, but with a modern setting, modern characters, weapons, and so on? Sort of like a highly polished GTA game. Or even set in the old west... Gun was a pretty good game but a little to small and a little too linear for my taste.

If a developer pulls this off well I'd gladly pay $100 for it on X360 or PC.

That would be cool but i think that would be kind of hard to make since their are so many details and things to put in a modern world. Maybe in 1600-1700s around that time? It is sorta modern but it is eassier to manage, yet has so many things to do. Has everything from elder scrolls plus more. and it still has an old world feeling and style.

Pssst...click on the link above...it's a first person RPG just like oblivion set in modern or even slightly (maybe a week or two...) post-modern times.

That looks hella fun. I would definitely play it. Not quite exactly what I had in mind, but closer than anything else I've seen.
