Does anyone know were i can download the first Oregon trail for free.i use play it all the time when i was in grade school and i miss playing,so if anyone can help it would be a big thanx...

I have looked everywhere for the original and have had no luck in finding it. I have even looked into buying it on ebay, come to find out those are all the newer versions....nothing like what we played in grade school.
Let me know if you have any luck finding it as I would love to get a copy.

are you sure?? ive found a few downloads once for the original. you need to remember it was a Mac game....

There was a Mac as well as a DOS version of the original. I would prefer to find DOS though if necessary I could run a Mac emulator.

i found a site that has it but you had to fill out this form and then you had to go a web site do this quiz for 5 min

the deluxe version (1992) isn't the original (1988)...you will see with the graphics that it is a newer version.
