This game is going to be dope, the graphics look pretty sweet too. Anyone excited to pick this up? Just a few more weeks.

heck yes im friggin stoked to pick this game up for the 360. graphics are gonna be insane and splinter cell just rocks, period.

I was a huge fan of the first splinter cell but after chaos theory (I think that was the sequel...) I have completely stopped caring about the game and anything related to it.

The graphics look amazing in double agent but if they crap up the controls again then there's no point in playing it. I think the controls went to shit after chaos theory. I got so frustrated on the first level that I just deleted the game.

Oh well I'm hoping for the best in the new one though.

it was splinter cell, then pandaora tomorrw, then chaos theory, now double agent. this one should be good. and ubisoft montreal is making the fifth one so it should be a doozie

Right but I thought SC:PT was just a multiplayer expansion pack for the original, not a true sequel. I know that SC:CT introduced a new graphics engine that utilized the latest directx technology.

Speaking of latest directx technology...have you guys seen the difference between MS flight sim with DX9 compared to DX10? It's so amazing I had to comment on it in this thread. Click here to see. Hold your mouse over the images. I can't wait for Vista.

they at least i think were talking about the xbox versions... the pc versions sucked ass while the xbox versions were beasts
