Looks like Simms will be on the bench for a while in Tampa. I wish Negaduck had a line for "First NFL player to have an organ removed this season due to football injury! That would have been some mad odds.

During my first varsity game of football, I hit a kid while he was catching a pass in the endzone. He was stretched out in the air and I hit him full force right under the ribs, I still remember it vividly. They removed his spleen. I was told it really isn't that uncommon a football injury. He was playing the next two seasons of ball I played, he was out that season though.I remember cause I used to tell him I was "coming for his kidneys next" whenever I lined up against him. I did deny a touchdown(he coughed up the ball)and we ended up winning a close game. I remember i got two paws for that game, we got little paw decals for our helmets when we did good. One for an interception, one for "best hit". The coach called me "Killer" and the name stuck until I was over 20, two friends still call me that....

That was my color commentary, I hope Simms is ok. Bad for Tampa

Ugh, You could tell he messed up something the second he dived into the endzone. Injuries are never fun to hear about, hopefully he'll get better soon.
