| I live in Dallas, but am not a football fan. According to the local station, he was taken from his home last night, and friends/family flew in on short notice. They're reporting now that T.O. took the remainder of his pain medication that was prescribed for his broken hand, which was an injury from the game on 9/17. Here's a link to the initial story: http://www.myfoxdfw.com/myfox/pages/...Y&pageId=6.1.1 The latest developments aren't on the local Fox website as of yet.

| Damn, I feel bad for him. He catches soo much shit from people across the globe, how would you feel? Yes, he brings much of it upon himself, but for people to say that they are glad he is hurt and hope he doesnt come back has to be damaging to his spirit. Get better TO! ![]()

| you'd never think that TO would do that. The man's got some problems, we've known it for a while, but I never knew they ran this deep.

| It is amazing how hard the media can be on somebody. Sure, T.O. brings it on to himself most of the time but IMO the media has gone over the edge. They are obsessed with this guy. Every move he makes it is reported. Every thing he says is questioned and analyzed. He can't go about living his life without a reporter in his ear. If I was him I would get fed up with living too. I am not suprised by this at all and actually wonder how more big stars like A Rod, aren't suicidal. Everybody is against them and every statement they make people question them about it. Get well T.O. and the media needs to F*** Off! Famous sports' stars are humans too and have feelings like everybody else. Everybody hates to be bothered 100% of the time. Imagine what it would be like if you were T.O. and everytime you turned on the T.V. some reporter would be on your case. ![]() |

He made a conscious choice to enter a profession that puts him squarely in the public eye. He plays in games that are on television each week. Why is the media in his face all the time? It's because the general public, especially football fans, want to know about what he's doing. Capone plays fantasy football, and that makes for a good example of what I'm saying. He wants to know about his fantasy players and what's going on with them. Since he (and every other football fan out there) doesn't have access to players, they rely on the media for information about injuries, mental states, suspensions, and so on. If people didn't want to know, the media wouldn't be closely following a story, plain and simple. | ||

| I just think it's messed up that they put that kinda stuff out there for everyone to read. Even if he is famous, I'm sure he doesn't want people talking about his suicide attempt. I know I wouldn't. I wish the media wasn't so hungry for any info about any celebrity. Even they need their privacy. Just my opinion
