anyone get either of these?

I bought 07 for the PS2 earlier today. I had a hard time deciding which to get. I'm just leaving class now and am gonna go smoke and play it. Hopefully Crosby is as beast as he should be in it.

Anyone have/played either yet?

yup i have NHL 2K7 for the 360. its an awesome game and has a shitload of features. they are both really good games, though, and you cant go wrong either way!

Always go for 2k. I've found the EA verison to be consistently shittty. Every time I give it another chance I find the realism is still complete shit. One year's version, I'm leaving my zone and there's NO opposing players in site. I pass to another defenceman and it somehow ended up in my net. Completely lazy series overall, 2k is MUCH better.

I have played EA's 07 on xbox, but havent tried the 2k version yet. What do you guys think is better, buying the ps2 version or the computer game version?

well first of all, why dont you guys have a 360? lol you guys need to make the investment, it is worth it.

second of all, since it is a hockey game, i recomend that you buy it for the console instead of the PC because it will play better and therefore, you will enjoy it more.

I don't have a 360 cause I'm waiting for ps3.

And damn, I shoulda made this thread before I went to the store. I coulda saved $10. Now that I think of it, 06 was indeed sorta shitty and unrealistic. You could be owning the computer the whole game then suddenly out of nowhere they get really good and score 2 quick goals. Oh well, I had a lot of fun with that game and I'm sure I will with this one.

you're gonna spend 600 bucks on an inferior console that doesnt have any games? get a 360, trust me

Haven't played NHL2K7 but I can tell you that NHL 07 ****FOR THE XBOX 360 ONLY - EA SKIMPED OUT ON THE OTHER CONSOLE VERSIONS**** is an AWESOME game. Gameplay is pretty much solely with the two joysticks, including shooting (back and forward for slapshot, tap up for snap shot, roll back and then forward for hard wrist shot, etc). The graphics are WICKED, the goalies are phonomenal, and the shootout mode is just....wow.....it has a unique camera angle just for shootouts and it's just AWESOME.

My buddy is the one with the 360 but now I'm starting to think I might want to pick one up for myself, just for that game! Plus, I've heard a lot of good things.

I can't offer any feedback on NHL2K7 but trust me, NHL 07 for XBOX360 is a good, good game.

got nhl07 for tha 360.. what else? Sick game guys, the shootouts are hella fun with a buddy 1 on 1 and the gameplay is fun. People always critisize the realism of the EA hockey games but i'm a rep hockey player and watch a lot too and i love 07.
