Hey guys so I got a question, anyone ever play the card game Munchkin??

If you haven't your probably looking at me like I'm retarted, and the mods are probably about to close this thread for not having to do with mary jane. But wait! I'm not done yet guys!

So some of my friends and myself went to our dealers house one day a few summers ago, to chill out, smoke all day long, and just basically sit around stoned off our asses. So we're sitting there bored as hell, and he says "hey guys, wanna play munchkin?" We all look at him like hes crazy and ask what the hell Munchkin is. He procedes to pull out this box, which contained 2 sets of cards, dice, and *shudder* level counters. We procede to look at this kid like hes a total tool and is trying to get us to play dungeons and dragons while were baked out of our minds.

So we lay the cards out, and start playing the game, and by the end of the first game, I was hooked. It IS the ultimate stoner-bordom killer. It's set up like D&D, except without all the rules, and writing, and story line. It's fast paced, and not confusing when your baked like most other things are. Basically you draw cards, fight monsters, earn loot (in the form of gear cards such as armor and weapons) It sounds pretty lame from that, but thats when it gets fun.

Say your moving along in your game, everyones between level 4-6(10 is winning, unless your playing epic rules) and someone draws a monster. Lets say, level 12-Stoned Golum (yes that is an actual moster in the game, and the character on the card has a giant bong in his hand), and say your smokin buddy to your left is just beating the monster by 1 level, you play a +10 card, and the monster is now level 22, effectivly f***ing your friend. Your friend can ask for help from another player, which is where fights get pretty crazy. We've gotten monsters up into the 60's and had loot totals as much as 15 treasure cards.

Really great stoner game that I just thought I should tell everyone about. You can check it out on sjgames.com, as it's drawn by steve jackson. There's alot of different sets, expansions, and variants of the origional game. It really is nice to sit there with some friends, pass around a few blunts, and play a round or 2 of munckin, as the descriptions on the cards are quite halarious.

(btw if your wondering, the stoned golum doesnt have to be fought, on the card it says "Bad stuff: He's stoned, he has the munchies, he eats you your dead, alternativly to fighting him, you can just walk by and wave"
