Well if its released when it is supposed to be (Oct 31, 2006 - Halloween!) then its less than two weeks away. Who else is as excited as I am to get ahold of this gem?

I played the CRAP out of NWN 1 and am looking forward to the second with a passion. Good to see there's a fan of such an excellent game on the boards.

I bought NWN thinking it was going to be some sweet RPG but it's all story and D&D crap that I don't understand. I like games that you can learn by playing the game...not going out and buying a D&D manual. I probably played the first one for about 10 hours and quit. If the 2nd one is anything like the first one I don't care how sweet the graphics are...I don't like the gameplay.

NWN reminds me of Baldur's Gate and Ultima Online. I just don't understand those games because it's basically virtual D&D and I've never played D&D.

I hear ya, I see how it could be intimidating and/or difficult to pickup. I've been a huge fan of D&D for years, myself so I had no problem whatsoever.
