Has anyone gotten the wii? I want to know what it is like. The concept of it sounds pretty cool.

I want the Wii soooo bad! I absolutly love Nintendo! Its got all the classic games like Mario, Zelda, Donkey Kong, Mortal Combat.... Ahh. I really hope I get it for Christmas!

the concept of the wii is great! motion censored. it gets fat kids off there asses and actualy have to move around when the wanna play a game. although... if someone walked in on you when you were playing a game you'd look like an idiot standing in your room waving you hands in the air with two controls in your hands. LOL

yea. i really look forward to seeing this thing in action. So many possibilities for game action with the remote being so unique and versatile. The game can configure any setting to the remote for it to be default. First person shooters with dual controls and the gun attachments, sweet.

The only reason I want a Wii is so I can play Super Smash Bros. Brawl, and maybe the next Zelda game. Honestly, I'm not so much into modern games. I'm more of an NES/Super NES kinda guy.

Ever since I got my Xbox I've been a huge fan of it and I've wanted the 360 since it first came out. I still want a 360 really bad but I am leaning more towards a Wii first. It's so innovative that it just draws your attention and imagination to it. I've always loved Nintendo and I still have my NES, Super Nintendo, and Nintendo 64 and I still play them, There's nothing like NES or Super NES when you are blazed as fuck. I absolutely love the Mario and Zelda series and the new Zelda game looks really badass. Hopefully I get a Wii for Christmas, if not I will probably buy one after the holidays.

I just got back from my girlfriend's parents' house and her brother has a Wii. The entire family was playing Wii sports together and we were also playing some mini-games in Rayman.

I love it! I had so much fun playing the Wii sports that I'm almost tempted to buy a Wii. I probably won't get one for a year or two when there's a lot more good games out and prices start to drop.

It took me a little while to get used to the controller but once I was used to it the games were a lot of fun. It brings another dimension to gaming, a whole new level of precision control that wasn't possible before. The resulting possibilites are so numerous it blows the mind

The Wii is the ultimate system if you have some friends who like to game too. I imagine playing it alone wouldn't be that great but all it really needs is some great single player games. Twilight Princess looked awesome but I'm waiting to get it for Gamecube before I really check it out. I gave myself a little sneak peak.

I've heard bad things about the controller. While the concept is a great idea, for some reason it bothers me. Ok, like, when I play video games, especially when I'm really high, I just like to chill out on the couch and not really move around alot; ya know, keep the controller in your lap and just move your fingers. Well, the Wii forces you (now correct me if I'm wrong) to move around all the time. You basically have to stand up and swing your arms to play, not really cool (especially if you're looking at a duration aspect of the game) in my opinion.

And since we're on the topic of consoles, even the PS3 has deterred me, especially with what I've been hearing. I'll stick with my 360 that I got last Christmas, especially with GoW and Halo 3 coming out
