i was thinking of getting it.
i used to play wow but got sick of it.
how does it compare to wow/other mmos?

id say its nothing the same.

its taken a lot of the best aspects of other games, Auction House, UI Interface, Search Features, In game music (maps music notes to your keyboard so you can play in game instruments), instances, raids.

I like it a lot, i have a 31 guardian (tank) and a 26 burglar (rogue). ive liked it a lot, the population of the game is helpful and always easy to find a decent pug group.

note: these are from my small 15in monitor, just got a 22" widescreen so the resolution and graphics look a lot better. ill take some new SS and post more tonight.

cuz ive really been wanting to get back into an mmo and WOW seemed like the only option, which i'm not interested in anymore.

k i was on ign looking up the game. just to make sure we're talking about the same thing, its called " The lord of the rings online: shadows of angmar" , right?

if this is the game than yea it looks amazing
i wathced the video review and im seriously thinking of buying it except for one thing. ign didnt mention any pvp. I personally love pvping, so yea. is there any pvp in this game? if so, how is it?

Played back in beta right before it went to open beta. Not my game.. I'm done with Turbine for now. Since Asheron's Call 1, they've yet to have a good game IMO.

Though LotRO has been their best attempt since AC2 (which was good after they fixed it)

AC1 was great, i played it for years.

Turbine did a great job though, even if you dont get it at least look into it, and yes your looking at the right game.

as a matter of fact i have a buddy key which will let you download and play for 10days for free. ill PM you the info. Then you can just IM me or something and we can play i can show u the game. it has voice chat in the game so if you have a mic you dont need to use any outside programs.

pvp is now monster pvp. when you level up with your character you get Destiny Points which can be used for buffs or towards your Monster PvP character, to improve its skills, weapons and shit. they have different ones to choose from also. Wargs, Urukai, Orcs. then you use that monster character to fuck up people in higher level areas. you can do it in raid groups too.
