In case you didn't hear, David Beckham and Posh are invading LA.

Well I'm not the biggest soccer fan in the world by far and it was kind of odd that I even watched some of the world cup last year but I like to give things a chance and I'm kind of looking forward to seeing how this turns out. Maybe it's that damn ESPN commercial that is kind of catchy about him coming to America set to the Beatles Hello, good-bye. Maybe it's because I'm sick of us getting killed by the rest of world in international play.

I know a lot of people in England and Europe think Beckham is a big bloody wanker but I kind of like watching him play. He seems to be having fun and enjoying himself out on the field which I admire. Granted he's a professional athlete and they are overpaid and there are many professions that are underpaid like teachers but still there are many malcontents in professional sports. Too many people are stuck in jobs that they don't really enjoy or they are workaholics and I think he brings an energy to his sport. I could be all wrong because like I said I don't really watch much soccer. I even saw some sports reporters talking about how Beckham really isn't that good that all he does is score on corner kicks and penalty kicks so I guess we'll see.

I need to change option 3 because I meant neither here nor there to mean you are indifferent to the whole thing and it kind of sounds like Beckham needs to be neither here nor there.

I've liked Beckham since I was a kid.. but I was definitely not happy with him going to the United States. The MLS are a joke, and he is better off in Europe.
