I am ashamed of myself for wasting 9 hours of possible, very comfortable sleep in my comfy bed by playing Halo 3. Campaign sucks, online multi-player sucks, everythings so different, slowed, and overall it's just madness. This game better get it's shit straight... I'm pissed. Fuck! The respawn points and sniping are so flawed now... All of the past techniques, basically washed away and made into yet another battlefield like playing style. That's not HALO 3.... DAMNIT.

Just placed an in-store pick-up for Halo 3 from my local Best Buy

. I was pretty shocked they had it in stock. What's really amazing is I'm not a follower of Halo or anything, I didn't even know it came out yesterday. It was just pure luck, and a Halo 3 thing being sent in my e-mail. Went to bestbuy.com and sure enough, it was there, even available for online shipping.

Going to pick it up in an hour or 2. Hours gone very quickly soon enough.
EDIT: Im glad I didn't pre-order it.

I picked up a copy yesterday and played online. I thought it was pretty fun, the graphics are enhanced and gameplay can be intense. I'm finishing up the campaign today

I too got it yesterday. Picked up a 1/4 of really good bud to top it off too

I have played mostly online because I'm a Live addict. My gamertag is Spiral Architek go ahead and add me if you want to get owned, I am a seasoned Halo 2 player. Very impressed with the game so far, haven't played too much campaign - but stoked to go at that one.

Anyone get the premium edition with the disc-mutilating packaging?

A coworker got it and the disc is scratched to shit, rendering it unusable. He's taking it back today for a replacement.

I hear that Microshaft is gonna issue a service pack for the packaging!
