| What did everyone think of this game? I played the Xbox 360 version. I thought it was a very good game. It was solid, except for very minor glitches which I barely consider an issue since it didn't effect the quality of the game in my opinion. PROS: The weapons and plasmids. They were great, and each had their own effectiveness. Not to mention, you have to admit it's a lot of fun burning people to death, or electricuting them when they're in a body of water. The Tonics. They were pretty swell in helping you achieve. Whether it be hacking or powerups, or anything. The Story line. I think it was really good. It had a twist to it. And there are multiple endings. Achievements. There's a bunch of good achievements in there, some of which are easy to get and some very hard. I had fun going through the game seperate times and trying to get everything. The sound. WOW. This game has to have the best sound ever. The background music is haunting and it sounds like there's a record player, among other things right next to your ears, or if you're listening to high quality headphones. Amazing sound. The characters. Great. All had good detail, and I don't recall hearing a same verse from any of them. The graphics: GREAT. Very good. Amazing lighting effects, amazing gritty detail to even the littlest of characters that mean barely anything. Realism: Pretty cool in my opinion. If you use the embers plasmid and burn someone, you can look at them while still alive and done burning, or when they are dead and they will appear charred and bloody as if they were really burnt. Wherever you shoot someone, the marks will show. If you shoot someone in the face their mask will go off displaying their gruesomely, tortured faces that they were trying to cover up all along. If you shoot them while they're down, in their face it will show a new display of gruesomeness I'd like to call crushed strawberries... The only real problem I had with it is that it didn't do much of anything to display something new and cutting edge. It was another one of "Those first person shooters" with an edge, but not a new edge. It's basically a compilation of all great ideas that have been already done, but in this game it's made solid and almost perfectly done. This game is probably the best game out on Xbox 360 to date. |

| I got it for my 360. It's pretty sweet, definetley not as cool as I expected. Kind of strange scheme about the game, feels awkward and wasn't cool enough to keep me interested too long but I will come back to it and beat it some day. Graphics were pretty good thats for sure. Still playing alot of Armored Core 4 to be honest.

| Personally it's one of the best games I've played, but then agian I care more about whether a game has an engaging story and interesting characters, then I do about other aspects so don't shoot me if you think I'm way off on any of them. How's the game look 10 Ok I am a horrible judge of graphics because I play mostly abandoned-ware that needs a dos emulator. That being said I think the graphics are amazing. The environments really give the feeling of a place that is just breaking apart at the seams. The enemies, surprisingly enough, manage to look like individuals instead of clones. How's the game sound 10 The voice acting in the game is excellent, in fact it can actually be call voice acting this is a good thing too because the story is told through the diaries of various people. Another wonderful aspects of the audio is the designers took the time to make the whole world feel alive. Not only do you hear things like footsteps, and enemies, but also the sound of metal groaning under stress, the trickling of water, and glass cracking. How's the games story 11 Honestly I have never played a game with a story as deep as this one, and to find it in a FPS makes it all the more deserving of an 11. The characters are absolutely amazing, their personalities are well defined, they have motives, and they have aspirations. You honestly start to feel sorry for some of these people, and even the enemies are emotionally engaging. The enemies are splicers, who have basically over-modified their genetic code and have gone crazy. At one point in the game I came upon a splicer standing over a baby carriage with a gun in it. So I snuck up to it, and took the gun. She immediately whips around screams "My baby", and proceeds to attack me while sobbing. It really makes you feel bad about killing it. Not to mention when you meet Andrew Ryan, it is a powerful cut scene. Honestly that was the point I was sure this was one of the best games I've ever seen. Honestly it's what games should be. How's the games replayability.8 The games replayabibility is solid, for an FPS. One of the main motivations for playing through the game again is to find the things you missed. Their is a lot going on in Bioshock and if you just run through the levels blasting things you are going to need to go back, slow down, and look around. That being said, nothing really changes when you play it again (it's not like Covert Action). How's the games gameplay 9 Their are so many ways to kill things in this game it's not even funny. Between the plasmids (genetic mods that resemble magic) and the weapon upgrades you'll feel like a kid in a candy store...a candy store of death. For instance you can sneak past turrets, cameras, and bots, you can destroy them, you can hack them to make them help you, or you can use a plasmid to make them think an enemy is you. The AI in the game is killer. They sneak up on you, try to flank you, and they hide and ambush you. Now comes the big complaint. When you die you revive in a vita-chamber, and continue on as if nothing happened (the enemies you killed are dead and the living ones have whatever health they had when you died. This can make the game too easy for seasoned gamers. Should I get it Yes I'd recommend it. Honestly it's good to see games like this being made. Remember crappy games killed gaming once, don't let it happen again.

| Bioshock really is an excellent game. Once you get the hang of it, fights can be really fun rather than being overwhelming at times. "Would you kindly go get stepped on by a big daddy"
