In thirty years of Dungeons & Dragons, there have been lots of beasties to hack and slash, all made up in the wonderful minds of the game designers at TSR (now Wizards of the Coast, now Hasbro).
Well, sometimes even the most wonderfuly creative mind has to create lame-ass content known as "filler".

This blog goes into detail about some of the stupidest monsters ever created for the D&D universe, including Giant Space Hamsters. That's right, GIANT SPACE HAMSTERS.

"I have battled many of those monsters and lived...they only think they are dumb b/c they have never had to outsmart one!!!"

Of course there are giant space hamsters! Don't you remember Boo in the Baldur's Gate games was a miniature giant space hamster?

There are also gelatinous cubes in baldurs gate, yes, I remember!! lol
