So last night i set out with everyone's advice and was determined to bring back some green, i'm not just talking cash lol. To warm up we play some 5 card stud which was pretty boring, i had no luck. Once everyone had arrived though we began.
I started playing conservatively while winning the odd hand. The biggest pot i won that night was $50 with a full house triple 9 and a pair of 6s. Then as fast as the night began it ended in the same fashion.
My friend's mom had gone to bed and so a friend pulled out a joint and started toking. Unfortunately we had a friend with us who doesn't smoke, which was no problem for us. But he saw the joint and got up and left....we stopped playing poker and then the night just consisted of us chilling. But we couldn't get over at how he just got up and left so fast, we were clear that we were going to smoke up. As a joke earlier in the night i opened my friend's tin and put it near him. I said 'touch it' but he refused and even refused to touch my pipe.
After he left we watched some Seinfeld and Family Guy which was amusing as everyone had drank at least 2 beers and smoked up. The joint i remember most was the first weed i had smoked in 2 weeks so it was a good feeling to put it between my lips and light it up breathing deep and tasting the fudge flavoured rolling paper.
It was a good night, there was 4 guys and 3 girls so it was nice to see some chicks toking. I just find it really sexy if a girl smokes weed, i can't get my head over it! Unfortunately the girl i'm seeing couldn't make it so i just had to do with seeing the other chicks smoking up.
My one friend got pretty smashed and kicked the coffeetable spilling beer and a whole 2L bottle of coke over. All the poker chips were soaked in the spill let alone the host's tin full of weed. Also he broke a beer glass which my friend had only bought in the past week. To the host's credit he wasn't angry but he did say that the drunk friend should buy him a half quarter lol.
A good night with good friends and a return to that familiar feeling.

I don't even go to my local poker game anymore. Everyone would get stoned at first and we'd have a chill time playing poker, but then we started getting a bunch of people who didn't smoke but they sure would drink. Money + competition + booze isn't a good combination. Everything would get out of hand, people screwing up their turn and showing cards and taking money that wasn't theirs. I got my ass outta that.
