I've been a little worried about Sony. I mean right now their lowest PS3 price bundle is $400 which is still way too much to me. More annoyingly tho is the fact that games are still being released for PS2 in fact more than hundred are set to come out til the end of 08' including 1 im definitely getting, Yakuza 2.

Not mentioning games included on that list and more that have already came out being released on PS2 and PS3 simultaneously. Now I've just read that in Japan they came out with a newer version of the PS2 that incorporates the power supply into itself. Like who the hell needed a newer PS2?

The system has been out for like 8yrs, they've made revisions to the slim design many times and now they decide to make a new version of the ps2 just in time for christmas? I really think that pushing the PS2 does detract form people getting PS3 as PS2 still has alot more and better games.

With Nintendo I mean I cant belive that I read on the Wii the best setup for playing SSB Brawl is with the GC controller as it has more buttons and the best rumble. That means it plays better than with the WIi mote, Nunchuk combo or even the specail Wii controller! I mean is that what you call pushing new hardware when it still works best with the old?

Its almost like SSB Brawl coulda been released on GC with no difference in quality or features. I really am shocked to see 360, even tho it was released earlier, still dominating this console war.

I just cant believe after playing SSBM more than any game I have ever played, Nintendo has fucked up so much in my eyes that i wont even buy a Wii for SSBB.

Hm. Try using paragraphs, its' hard to read a long tirade and care when its all jumbled up like yours is.

The PS2 still sells, surpisingly enough, it has such a huge fanbase and game library saying it is obsolete is kind of jumping to an irrational conclusion, wouldn't you think?

Also check out Next-Gen Wars, the Wii is currently in the lead and leaving the others in the dust. I read somewhere that the Wii sold like 350,000 units in one week, as oppose to the 360 selling that many in a month. The demand is so high for Wii's they have increased production, but it still isn't enough.

Also, it would be kind of hard to play SSB Brawl with the wii controllers I assume, I am, along w/ my friends avid SSBM players (I'm usually Mario), and it would make the transfer to the new game much easier for those who purchased the console just for Brawl. It also levels out the playing field in a way.

Just thought I'd add my :twocents:. I think most gamers would agree that PS3 is the biggest video game disappointment since the Atari Jaguar. And 360 is an unbelievable system even though I've never really gotten into xbox it really is amazing what they do with their first person shooters and online play (something playstation and nintendo blow with). The Wii (which I am the biggest fan of) I think has been successful mostly because of their fun factor. I've never really gotten into SSB but if its out on both gamecube and wii then I bet it was originally being made for GC and they made a version for Wii, which they also did with the Twilight Princess. I used to play playstation 2 all the time but I figure I'm not even gunna bother with PS3 until it gets cheaper and FFXIII comes out. Just my opinion.

Thats exactly what I dont want to do, buy a Wii just for Brawl. I mean that really seems like waste to me as great as Brawl will be.

Also I'm with Tim, the PS3 seems like a big disappointment yet I still am going to want it when the FF 13 games and MGS4 come out and the console is cheaper.

Btw Gamecube is my fav console ever and I love Dirge of Cerberus for PS2, best $10 game I ever bought
