| GunZ: The Duel-(http://www.gunz.ijji.com/) Cost: Nothing, unless you want premium items, which are armor/weapons/items that are way better than the items that are within the game. You can find these in the Item Shop on the website. For a set of armor it's about $10 which will get you G coin, Ijji's currency(think Microsoft points). Charge some money through one of Ijji's many different providers (I like Google's the best) and you'll have some sweet armor in minutes. System Requirements: EXTREMELY low, you can run it with a 32bit card (or an onboard chip for that matter) there's never any visual lag even on an ancient PC. Genre: Action-RPG/3rd-Person Shooter (but with melee combat too) Multi-player: No singleplayer for this game, it's all multi-player. The popular assortment of online gamestyles all appear in this game. Deathmatch(w/ or w/o Berserker... think Juggernaut), Team Deathmatch, Duel (1o1 fights, winner keeps fighting). There's a really unique gametype I haven't seen before called Quest. Up to 4 players can work together through the different scenarios Mansion, Dungeon, and Prison. The players battle AI skeletons, goblins, ghouls, things of that nature. Each scenario has a couple of different levels, but some can only be accessed once you get a higher level. The bad guys you kill in these levels have a chance to drop Sacrifice Items. Sacrifice Items are items that occasionally drop and can be used to access bosses, providing a much more rewarding quest (more EXP, and unique items). Weapons: Daggers, Katanas, Kodachi (dual katanas), Rocket Launchers, Machine Guns, Dual SMGs, Shotguns, Dual Revolvers, Dual Pistols, Frag Grenades, Smoke Grenades, Flashbangs, Assault Rifles Other Stuff: As soon as you jump in, you're liable to accidentally do some crazy Neo-esque moves. Position yourself running along a wall, but facing towards it at a 45 degree angle, push jump just as you hit the wall to perform a wall run(yeah you can shoot while doing it too). That's just one of the many moves. When you kill you get EXP, and Bounty. Bounty can be spent in the Shop on new weapons, armor, and other items. This game has a very steep learning curve, but you can jump right in and have fun. But whenever you see that person that's "jumping all around with a sword and slicing up walls and then shooting at me and it's crazy", that's the learning curve :P. I searched for it before posting, and no results for thread nor any posts. So I figured I'd check to see if anyone plays it, or maybe inspire a few into playing it. You can find me in the game as Smyler Ps Any-Browser-user: You always have to launch the game from the website, but it doesn't run off of your browser. Ps Firefox users!: It may just be my Firefox, but the website looks all bugged up for me. If it appears like this for you, I have a workaround. Once the page loads if it's all distorted in shape, scroll down and find the login box (or register button) and get that out of the way. When you come back to the main page (gunz.ijji.com) click View at the top left, and then mouseover Page Style, then select No Style. You can see "Play Live Button" in blue/underline on the left (might be down a little).
