I just started this game and enjoy it. My guild is probably annoyed with me because I'm not very consistent with my play time, so I probably won't be very useful for scheduled raids. But I am a priest, so they can suck it up. ![]() Nah, it's a fun game. I just have so much other real life stuff going on that Wowcrack is a little low on the totem pole right now. My new puppy is still Housebreaking Level 1. ![]()

Oh boy, World of Warcraft. Well, I've tried numerous 10 day trials, and never really felt it warranted a purchase. I played on a few private servers, and I got addicted for about 3 months, and then quit after level 49(and this is on a server that is 3x faster). It is a fun and an extremely addictive game, but, after playing for a solid 3 months; I came to the realization that their is no point to the game. It is a grindfest, and I barely got lvl 49 on a private server, on a retail server, I probably would of quit before level 30. I do, however, play Guild Wars: Nightfall. I love the anti-grind philosophy the game has, max level is 20 and after that is when the fun begins. I am strapped for cash right now, but if I wasn't, I would of already purchased the other expansions.

Most MMOs are grind-tastic. There's a reason why I quit for Oblivion. Even still, once you become good enough at that, the game just feels like a joke. I'm actually considering quitting RPGs altogether.

MMO's are just too time consuming. They are fun, but I hate to waste money. I can't really commit to a MMO and paying for one and not playing much seems like a waste. I've never played Guild Wars but from what I hear it is supposed to be great, and it is free to play as well. I'll probably wait and get Guild Wars 2. It's going to be a fully persistent world (like World of Warcraft) and have a bunch of amazing features. They are also keeping Guild Wars 2 free to play without monthly subscriptions.

| Played for a while on private servers since I can't afford real WoW, and I stopped after my characters on the server kept getting deleted or I'd lose like 5 hours of work or 5 levels from a rollback. All the donators' stuff on there was saved and they always have superior custom gear so it gets kinda old, not to mention all the bugs. I'd prolly get back into it if I could play official, but I don't have the patience for private servers anymore.

GD i get upset when people say some things about this game... yes there are extreme cases out there, yes many have to do with WoW but come on... WoW is just the most known one (seriously... how many mmo's have 4 or 5 regular comercials on tv) theres more than just WoW getting people addicted and doing crazy things... just because it has the most publicity doesn't mean its the devils game Thats the short version, i can argue till blue in the face about this game but little is gained (debate is just fun for me )I currently play with some family and friends, i've played casually for the last 3 years. Currently on Uldum Gouliash/Golash are my current mains P.S. My rant may very well be premature, i just saw a couple people talking about addiction to the game and that is enough to put me over the edge sometimes... people around here not only condemn my smoking but (offtopic) gaming/drinking and i get quite defensive... just because im not like most the 'young-adults' around here playing basketball 5 or 6 hours a day or watching tv most the day doesn't mean im not going to do something with a couple spare hours i have (normally play from about midnight till i fall asleep unless im with friends) For the Horde
