No Super Mario Galaxy love? That's the best single-player game I've played in recent memory. Ocarina of Time was awesome too, and I haven't played Twilight Princess, but I'm sure that's also awesome.

Ms. Pacman SNES (Personal Favorite) but lately I've been heading towards Hitman Blood Money. I'm sure once GTA4 comes out on the PC I'll change my mind.

Forgive me for going slightly old-school, but i would have to give it up to Goldeneye for the N64. Of course it's multiplayer was revolutionary at the time, but the single player is also incredible. One of the first "first-person shooter" games, and easily still one of the best. it seems like other games (halo, et. al.) are just trying to copy Goldeneye's gameplay and put it on a better system. However, they still don't stack up to the original. Plus, i still have a little thing for Xenia Onatopp!

Resident Evil 4 is definetly the best single player campaign i ever played through. I got a gamecube just for that game and i still go back to it this day. I don't play that many video games so my experience is limited but man oh man do I love that one.

Half-Life 2 love anyone? I thought that this was an awesome first player experience. Unlike other shooters, I care for the characters in the game, plus it has the best physics engine to date (although GTA4 deaths are better).. The facial expressions and mouth movements are also the most realistic I've seen as well. It's technically brilliant, as well as creatively brilliant.
