how can you tell if its haze? Ive got a dealer that swears it is, im going to smoke it in two days but he gave it to me for 15 a g, he usually sells it for 20 but my best friend is cool with him so he gave me a deal. What should haze look like and what should I expect when high? I usually smoke mids FYI

You're overpaying a 20 a gram.

Period.

It sounds like you're probably getting ripped off because you're new. Chances are, what you're smoking is middies, and worth in the area of 120 an oz.

thanks, but its 15 a g. Is it a rip off for that? It looks more dank than the mids ive smoked, but not nearly as dank as the heads my teammate gave me for free.

15 a gram might be reasonable if you're buying a single gram at a time, and it's super dank stuff.

However, that begs the question, why are you buying a single gram at a time? You save big time by buying a half oz or more at a time.

uuh.. for dank, you are not being ripped off for 15 a gram... 20 a gram is the norm that ive always seen, and i hardly consider it a "rip-off" ....

now as to whether its 'haze' or not, i dont even know what qualifies a strain as 'haze'... i think its just one of the names dealers throw out to justify a price raise.

Haze is typically Sativa or Sativa Dominant.
Sativas smell differently than Indicas but it's something of a nuance.
In general and a little bit easier for the average person is to note whether the buds are tightly formed or more open and fluffy, the latter being typical of a Sativa.

15$ is a totally fair price for very good bud when it's by the gram.
Nothing at all wrong with purchasing in small quantities. I do it not infrequently because I like experimenting with different strains, different grows.
When I find one I'm particularly fond of I'll go to a larger quantity...

yeah i do that too- buy a small quantity (gram to eighth) and try it before getting a quap of it...

Haze is made up of several different Sativa strains. It originated in Northern California. Haze is available for all intents and purposes as a hybrid only, either being crossed with another Sativa or instead, an Indica. You're right to a point. Dealers can and sometimes do play fast and loose with what they have. All too often it's not even that, it's that they aren't educated enough to really know themselves.
That's why it's important to find a steady source; one that you can trust.

Bottom line though, is that Haze is not only for real but is as awesome as it is legendary...

ya ive had orange and purple haze strains both... both were top shelf weeds...

ive also come across people that claim that the shit they have is haze (usually purple) but i know the real thing when i smoke it ... 8)

I do no think that $20 a gram is a ripoff. That is the norm that I pay and all my dealers only roll with headies. If I get a discount or the tree is not as good as they normally have then I get it for $15/g. I just snagged an 8th for $45 which I found very agreeable.
