In the southwest I never heard the term chronic until around 1991-92 and it was used for high quality bud. Just depends on who you hang with, out west in the 80's and 90's "skunkbud" meant good indica, and the smell was so strong it was almost as bad as a dead skunk. Stinkiest bud I ever smoked, soooooo good. My friend i smoke with down here in florida says skunkbud meant ditch weed down here.

I always thought chronic referred to the strains of bud usually grown hydroponically that were developed for chronic illnesses that were incredibly potent and inevitably made into the general use market. I forgot who told me that, but it made sense to me and I really don't care what your calling it,pass the joint already.....

People around here, just use chronic as another word for weed

a "slang term" like chronic can't have a "real" definition. AS has been established here, the terms definition depends on where you are. However, I've NEVER heard that it has anything to do with coca leaves, no matter where I've been. It only means high potency marijuana or coke-laced marijuana, at least anytime I've ever heard it used, regardless of location.

Is ground up marijuana leaves THC? No. It is neither hashish.

Cocaine is an tropane alkaloid from the coca plant. If you grounded up coca leaves, you would not end up with cocaine.

Do you understand the logic?

A certain extraction process, both varying greatly in this case, is needed to create hashish or cocaine.

Im glad you cleared it up, but you stated that ground up Marijuana is not THC... of course it is, obviously not pure, but still contains some THC.

I was merely hinting around the substance Cocaine without using the word. (off topic etc).
Cocaine comes from Coca. To me, It doesnt make sense to say that Coca doesnt contain Cocaine.

Sorry for the inaccurate information.
