| Howdy all! So it seems that everyone has their own terms for very high quality cannabis. These terms often differ in definition from person to person, or region to region. Are there any standards in classifying top-quality weed? We all know 'schwag' is low grade, but what about the best stuff? I was hoping there was a sort of universal term for very dank, high quality (no seeds, small stems) weed but there doesn't seem to be one. Discuss! It is interesting to note, the first time I bought very high quality canna from a friend who worked at a co-op, he asked me what quality I wanted, and I didn't know. The way he explained it was "I have eights at $45 for ok-quality, $65 for good quality, and $75 for top quality." He didn't use any sort of special term (I ended up getting 1/8 of Sour Diesel for $65). Interesting, no? A few terms I hear thrown around quite a bit: Chronic is used by some to describe top quality, but others argue the term shouldn't be used nearly as much as it is. Some say it is only to be used for pot with red hairs (for example). Some hold that it means pot laced with cocaine (more east cost I believe). Kine Bud is a term my father uses, but I haven't heard it used much with any of the people I smoke with (very thoughtful "weed snob" college types). Often mispronounced "kind" Medical Grade seems extremely generic, although pretty much all named strains found in medical co-ops are very high quality (with a price tag to match). Indica / Sativa is of course a biological classification, but it seems only associated with high grade marijuana - does this mean it can be used to mean top shelf weed? "I have an eighth of indica", like that? Kush, a specific indica strain, does seem to be thrown around as a synonym for high quality weed, even if said weed isn't actually kush strain. What's the dilio? Headies is a term I really have never heard used in a conversation (or heck, anywhere outside this forum).

| Around where I live(Georgia) chronic is mainly used to describe weed laced with cocaine. We use the word 'fire' to describe top quality bud. I.E.-Man that bud we got last week was so fire! Headies is also thrown around on occasion but not too often and as for kine, never heard of it. |

| Sinsemilla, sometimes spelling might be different but it literally means no seeds(spanish, sin means no, semilla is seeds)

![]() Does that mean I've been eating Kine veggie burritos all these years and didn't know it? I've probably just been too stoned the whole time. | |
