Weed, Ganja, Ja <---what we use the most
Kill<---What my one friend calls it
pictures<---In front of other people. It's an inside joke. We have spinoffs from it too. Like to know if a joint is rolled already, we ask if the pictures are developed. The grower is called the photographer. We're trying to think of something for the dealer. I'm sort of partial to "Corbis" as in corbis.com.

me and my friends call weed "sammiches" (like sandwiches)
like:
"hey man, you got any sammiches?"
"i had some awesome sammiches friday"
"lets go have some sammiches"

its kinda funny, but non-smoker kids at school dont have any clue what we're talking about

in my area, sydney, weed goes by some of the following terms...
chronic, ganj, ganja, brew (normally marijuana mixed with tobacco), gear, green, bills, mokes 'let's go for mokes', and a few others i can't think of.

Personally i like to use the word weed. But when I'm wasted I like to say that I'm Percolating.
When I'm percolating and friends start harshing my buzz i have been known to say "Why are you all up in my grill, I'm just tryin' to Marinate?" I told that to a cop at a night club and he almost arrested me. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND SAYING THIS TO AUTHORITY FIGURES.

normally i call it weed, but one time, after me and my friend had been smoking quite a bit, i kept calling it 'silqéni'. so i remember that from time to time and use it. stupid and strange, but hey.

(silqéni is used in the lord of the rings, as an elven word for a silver-birch tree).
