ok. i know we've all seen them . the people that smoke weed because they think its the kool thing to do. they sit in our class rooms and at work with us thinkin their the koolest thing in the world because they smoke. I cant explain how u know these type of people but im positive u guys know what im talking about. Am i the only one that gets pissed off at these people for treating our sacred plant like its a ticket to the "in crowd"?I am trying to be nice because some of the people reading this might be one of those people. if u r then i'd like to tell u this: read a couple of the threads in this room and try to understand why we love weed so much. if u feel the same way, keep smoking. If not then find another recreational activity.

i know how u feel man... or when people TRY to be COOL by saying **** like "Smoke Weed Everyday" and "4:20"... and u KNOW they don't smoke... It just pisses me off when people that are so annoying are trying to be stoners... its sad

i just keep to myself and enjoy being high, i try not to get angry at others for wanting to be "cool" it is sort of a goal in life for many people..it is rather annoying sometimes but i have pretty good nerves hehe

Yeah, it's mostly the "homies" (ie, white boys who dress and talk like black rappers) in my school that smoke to be cool. Then again, my stoner friends and I would hate them even if they didn't smoke.

only person i know like that doesnt even smoke, he just bum hits and pretends like hes high to seem cool, he dont smoke with me no more, but i feel the same as you all do about people like that.

I know poser smokers are a problem, but this is how i see it. This is a form of stereotyping, and it isn't cool to judge people because they "smoke to be cool". I say, if you smoke weed, you are .

If they want to make themselves out to be a pothead, i think that is better than them not smoking at all, in my book.... Anyone agree, disagree?

However, i have seen this taken to an extreme on only one occasion where this little bastard punk made me and a freind of mine look bad, because he didn't know a thing about pot, and he made up some wierd BS, and made it seem as though we were the poser loosers. Really this isn't an easy story to tell, so that is the best i can do

almost every monday he tell me how he smoked tons of weed and got laid, and like "is that so? right, i´m sory i have to drown myself, bye"
i smoked with him only once, and when he is "high" or pretends that he is, he is even more annoying. and he smokes cigs in front of the school too, *look at me i´m smokin´ i´m a big boy and do what ever i wanna do"

but i freeloaded, so that made it alright

Just because they are poser potheads dosn't mean you should not hang out with them, shunning people away isn't good.

And why do you think they act like that, they want to be accepted by people that do smoke for recreation. Everyone has been a poser pothead sometime in your life, usually when you first smoke.
