I was wonderin what a slide on a bong is. I make all of my stuff at home, so i've never seen a slide. Wanna fill me in?

i have never seen one but from what i see at online head shops, a slide is a bowl that has a stem and a little wing that you pull off the hole and you use the hole as a carb.
did that make any sence?

ya I think I get it. so basically, you don't have to hold the carb with ur finger?

No, you don't have to hold your finger on a carb, as there isn't one.

I've used a glass bong with this before, I think I actually prefer it to the standard carb that is on mine.

Sometimes your finger gets hot when you pull it out cuz your finger is so close to the bowl, but usually it's alright.

Dm pretty much summed it up, my old bong had a slide bowl, The bowl fits into a hole in the side of the chamber, and when your ready to clear the bong you pull the bowl out of the whole by the lil wing thing (handle) on the bowl and it acts as a choke (or carb whatever u call it)
