even with my relatively limited experience with this magical plant called marijuana, i have a little bit of knowledge to share with this wonderful community that i discovered yesterday. 4:20 comes from that 4 grams of weed costs 20 dollars. I dont know if u all knew this, but from the discussion on it that i read i found you all talking about various police codes and such. I hope this expands your minds like you all do mine.

Ive read the other posts, but that is what i have always been told. Back in the day when 4:20 came to be, 4 grams cost 20 dollars. But i conceed to any senior member who has been smoking many moons longer than i.

Yeah maybe some places this is true, but that's not where it comes from. It riginated a long time ago at a college where a group of students would meet and smoke on campus. They'd see each other around and just say 420 to signify that the meeting was at 420 and none of the adults would know what they are talking about. If you're gonna try to educate other users please get you facts straight. Not trying to be rude, but misinformation sux!
