If my friends would have done something like that i would not have told on them but just because i didn't tell on them doesn't mean that i went along with it or that i condone robbery and as far as other more serious crimes are concerned i would tell on someone if they raped or murdered someone because anyone who would do a thing like that is not my friend and deserves to go to jail. bottom line. but a simeple burglary would not be enough for me to tell on a friend because if you can't trust your friends than who can you trust?

plus insurance covers all that stuff, so now instead of that old couch with the cheetos stuck inbetween the cushions they can get that new lay-z-boy they've always wanted

Heh, I guess you guys don't see someone breaking and entering anothers house with the intention of robbery and pawning off the stuff for drug (yes, marijuana nothing else) money as a big thing. **** man, after they did that I could care less who they trust your no friend of mine if you rob another friend. they trusted those 3 guys, as did I, now it's gone.

basically, I'm wondering why, or even how you guys could hang out with a couple of "friends" after you know full well they broking into another friends house and robbed it? I'd really love to know

For someone with a quote from Ted Kaczynski, you seem pretty straight edge. I just wouldnt hang out with these people who break into houses. I would've told them to give the loot back or Im turning you in. I would have given them ultimatum before sending them to the As$ Pains Hotel.

i dont have to worry about friends robbing, killing, etc. i wouldnt hang out with people like that.

a snitch tells any authority figure, not just cops, but also school principals, parents, and so forth. a snitch is a person that was given trust but broke that trust.

a narc is just someone who found out some info and told an authority figure.

so anti, you were a snitch. i know ya have a thing against stealin or whatever, but still.

what really matters is were ya guys smokers together? if ya guys were smoking buddies, ya should have never told. if ya were so-so friends, ya still shouldnt have snitched, but it was less severe

There is a word that comes to mind when you know about a crime but fail to report it...conspiracy.I'm sure you know what this word mean's,it mean's that you conspired with the person who
broke the law to help him cover up or conceal his crime.

This is the exact reason that I hate for the herb to be illegal!
There is a supposition from the general public that since we break the law with the herb,that we are perfectly willing to break all the rest of the law's.Guilt by association.

And if you cover up a crime by not reporting it,then in the eye's of the law,you are as low and despicable as the person who committed the crime,and in my eye's you are as low and despicable as the criminal who broke the law!

I don't think anyone I know is guilty of any other crime other than possesion and use of marijuana.If they were and I found out,I would not associate with that person.Would you,Thomas?
I can presuppose from your answer that you do all ready,so you don't have to bother answering.

Or perhap's you have broken other law's and worry about someone finding out and turning you in.

I'm sorry if this sounds personal,but I just can't understand how a person can condone a crime by not reporting it to the police.
Possesing and using the herb does not make any one a criminal,but breaking into someone's home while they are there

well, my definition of a snitch is a person who basically gets in trouble and to out of some punishment tattles on other people. Yes, those guys were pretty good friends. Yes, we smoked together. So what? Robbery is a serious crime my friend. And of course, like I said before, THEY ROBBED ANOTHER FRIEND OF OURS HOUSE! ALL of us smoked together BTW. You guys seem intent on defending them for robbery and demeaning me for bringing the axe down, what's wrong here?

Sounds like you did good anti. Even if it wasn't a friend of yours that was robbed, you still did the right thing. My friends know that I won't tell anybody anything and that when I give my word I will do everything I can to keep it... but if they did something stupid (unethical being the key word) I would not help them out unless it was a mistake.

It's time everyone gets rid of that 'Us vs. Them' attitude w/ authority figures. After being booked and getting stopped by cops once a week for just being outside you think I would hate them, but I don't. Sure it's a hassle, but the reality is that we need cops.
