What is hash really? I have heard so many different explanations for it. Is it more expensive than weed, and if so is it worth it? There is a guy in my dorm that wants to sell it.

Hash is when someone takes their male plants or female buds and uses a very strong enthanol alcohol such as Everclear (moonshine) to extract the pure THC oil. After they let it sit in the alcohol they cook all the alcohol off and what u have left it hash.

actually, hash is just compressed resin from the flower of the plant. there are othe methods of making it besides the alcohol one
