Default How can you tell the difference between sativa and indica weed?

Like can you tell the difference between sativa and indica weed by smell or looks? Also, whats the difference between a mind high and a body high?

Correct me if I'm wrong:

Sativa - Mind high
Indica - Body high

Ok Sativas have thin, finger like leaves, airy buds, and clear up highs. They are native to tropical reagons and take longer to finish once flowering began. Indicas are native to hash-producing areas of the world (Nepal, Afganistan, etc.) They are short and stalky with dense resin rich buds. They are larger yeilders indoors generally. Good commercial bud is useually Indica or a hybrid with a lots of Indica traits. You could do a search to find more and find this. Or go here smokersguide, or take a look at this sites sister site. Peace.

There are three main variations of weed. Cannibus Sativa, Cannibus Indica, and Cannibus Ruderalis.

A sativa will usually give you a energetic, cerebral high, instead of the usual, Im lazy and need to go to sleep stoned.

A indica is the exact opposite, giving you the dick in the dirt type high.

Theres no real way to tell about weed, because there are many strains of the plant, some are 50% sativa and 50% indica, others are straight indica, and even more are straight sativa.

You cant 'look' at the bag and tell what it is, smoking it sometimes prevails in a guess, considering what type of high you acheive, but once again, like gdman says, since there are hybrids and different strains, theres no real way to tell.

If you saw the plant the buds came off of, tis a different story, but even then, its hard to tell.
