Ya the sativa is a strain of marijuana that gives you the "trippy" high, and indica is the knock-out kind where your stuck saying "MAN...I"M SOO HIGH!" And obviously my weed has been indica lately because it always brings me to the same places, my computer or COUCH!

Remember, it's not a "strain" that refers to the different species. Just like you can have different types of roses, you can have different types of Indica or Sativa. What you will mostly find the majority of people smoking is the U.S. is mostly an Indica bread plant. It's usually a lot easier to grow. Personally I prefer a ratio just as Red described, 20% Indica / 80% Sativa.

Just as an example, the "strain" Haze is 100% Sativa, Northern Lights is 100% Indica. Here is a good discription of both.

I'm a big fan of the sativa high.
Unfortunately, I rarely smoke sativa, as indica is more popular to grow (flowers early, big yields etc).
My friend grew some sativa and it was really really good weed. A great high.

indica is skunky and darker and has a tendancy to make you tired. burnout is harsher

sativah is a lighter green and givers more of a clear head buzz

most weed isnt one or the other, but a mix.

I agree with what someone said about Indica being more popular. Once in a great whille here i'll find a bag of great 100% sativa (at least I think)...I have to say I enjoy the high from a pure sativa much more. I can actually do stuff like walk around and not feel like im really struggling to move.

Driving whille mindf***** off a Sativa can be almost dangerous because it IS so trippy. I see people that turn out to be just trashcans, animals running across the road that aren't there...hear sounds that freak me out (like parents awake). Somtimes i'll forget where im at and get lost for 30 minutes or more in my car--IN MY OWN NEIGHBORHOOD. LOL.

Its such an uplifting high I dont really want to sleep. Sure it's relaxing and i COULD sleep, but id rather play video games or somthing.

Other factors can turn a great Sativa or Hybrid into a more Indica type stone though. If the plants weren't harvest early enough the THC begins to break down into CDB or whatever it's called and you get a more body/heavy stone. I usually check to see if about half the hairs are red when I buy now.

Anyway...I tend to sort of try and save the high Sativa blends for pow-wows and sittings, and smoke the Indicia's first....

Smoking resin is neat, but can’t be any good for those lungs!
Thing is, I’ve never tripped out like the above person mentioned. Closest thing that I ever experienced was a shadow coming after me and scared the **** out of me so I ran to my bed and went to sleep.
Resin is for when your bored, out of bud and have a used pipe around. Consider it recycling.
