| i know this jamaican guy... he showed me a type of pot he calls "chocolate." it's sorta dark colored, crumbly, potent. my impression is it's an indica type. according to him, a lot of jamaicans prefer that. does this sound familiar to anyone? what is it? how would it fit into the kind buds / mids / shwag spectrum? any idea what strain that might be? (or just indica vs. sativa?) another one: so-called "arizona". it's green, compressed, has seeds (at least in my experience). my guess was sativa variety, though i'm sorta self-taught and clueless. anyone know what this is? based on what others have said sounds like "mids", though i thought it was fine!

| The chocolate is probably Chocolate Thai (usually large indica buds, sometimes attached to a "thai stick". Good bud, if it's really the "chocolate". No idea about the "arizona", though from your description I'd bet it's some brick weed from Arizona.

| Brick weed only means that the weed has been compressed down so they can store more in smaller places; its only a way to transport the weed from place to place, it has nothing to do with potency. A lot of brick weed is just shwag, but its not limited to it. the second best weed I've smoked was brick weed, it was sooooo sticky with an overpowering smell. I took two hits from it and I was GONE! Like I said, a lot of brick weed is ordinary shwag, but compressing bud is just a way to get several lbs. into a tire, or something smaller. "you shouldn't judge a book by its cover" ![]()

| I suggested brickweed because of his decsription and that Mexico is awfully close to Arizona, and almost all brick comes from Mexico. I'm also aware of good outdoor buds in the southwest, but I'm thinking it's a little too early in the year for an outdoor harvest. |
