this has prolly already been asked but what is a blunt..alot of people say its just a really big joint..what is it actually?

blunt is a hollowd out cigar filled with weed then closed back up.

you slice a cigar length wise straight, take out the tobbacco, then seal it back up with spit usually, and put the lighter over it to dry it, and voila!.

It may be shut down, but they really don't put a lot of administrative effort into the Glossary of Terms section. theDeBaucher(Y) is correct. There are many ways of rolling a blunt. Some people unwrap the blunt along the lines that it is rolled up, then take out all the tobacco, then reroll it back up. Other people roll what are called Godfathers in which the end of the blunt is cut off and then the tobacco is removed using tweezers and the hollow shell remains. This is filled with weed. I wouldn't recommend blunts because I am a believe in the "Blunts are for blacks" expression. I'm not racist, but that's just the ways I've seen it done. The only people I see smoking blunts are the wiggers and the blacks. Regular white people smoke bowls and joints. Roll yourself a doobie instead. HA I'm so racist.

That was extremely ignorant, some of the most hippy-like stoners I know smoke blunts. Maybe you should explain perhaps why you made that generalization? Why should you let some asinine prejudice prevent you from enjoying the most amount of weed you can smoke at once without having to re-pack a bowl? Blunts also get you really high if you don't blaze them a lot (like me, but at least I can enjoy them cause I'm not racist).

when someone starts saying, **** blacks/white/browns/purples, then you can jump their ass. other wise smoke a joint and find somethign better to complain about.

oh and White poeple cant dance, (oh **** a generalization) and its about white poeple.

Seems to me like Tomato Boy may be a very sheltered character. I've seen everyone from blacks to "wiggers" to 40 year old white ladies smoke a blunt. Actually the majority of people I know and notice smoking weed end up pressing a nice Phillie or Dutch to their lips. From my experience only people I seen smoking J's or bowls are mostyl older folk (sorry older folk!) and deadbeat smokers! Blunts are probably the most common round my parts! Sorry Tomato Boy! To me...your the minority! Go twist an L!

Of course I'm not offended, nor was I offended by Weiisky's post. I wasn't complaining about it either, I was just stating facts that contradict what he said. I was definitely not jumping on him, rather asking him to clarify a ridiculous statement. Really, the gist of what he said is "if you're not black, don't smoke blunts." I don't take kindly to that at all, being the cultured white stoner that I am!

As for smoking a joint, it's my least favorite way to smoke so I think I'll pass on that one and ROLL A BLUNT or hit a few bubbler bowls INSTEAD.

Every smoker I know smokes blunts sometimes, sure in the hip hop crowd around here they pretty much exclusively smoke blunts but everyone else smokes them too. I love smoking blunts, nothing like it. So whats the point? Smoke blunts. Of course they have nothing on my sherlock, but yeh, blunts are good every now and then. I don't smoke blunts anywhere near as often as bowl,bubbler,bong but more than joints. I'm not crazy about the whole smoking nicotine thing either, but hey, they are tastey. Nothing like a late night walk on the beach in the summer with a green leaf.

This thread got me thinking...how many older smokers have or do smoke marijuana cigars on occasion? Panama? MamaBudz? Pontoon(where is that character)? Buzz?

IMO- On a side note, generalizations,stereotypes border on racism and I see why someone would care. "blunts are for blacks", thats pretty wack pal.
I didn't know "stoners" couldnt get hostile or offended, lemme go smoke a joint and not care about anything

its not a racist comment.
blunts are associated with african american culture. (hip hop culture). its a social thing thats also goes with being a baller, its saying you have enough bud to just roll it all and smoke in one session.... thast just the way it is. listen to hip hop music. money, blunts n *****es.
same with rap music, rap music is associated with african amercian culture.

caring and getting hostile are completely different homey. think about it.
hostility on an issue is usually assoc with alcohol, and off topic drugs. stoners just sit and talk about it, and loose their train of thought and smoke again, IMO. ...

Blunts are for !@##%^* (insert a racist term starting with "N". , <---- that would be racist, and unnecessary.

No its not pretty much the hip hop crowd, its pretty much everyone who smokes. And the "hip hop crowd" is pretty racially mixed, I would say just as many caucasians as african americans.


I don't think you understand what I mean by the word generalization. Blunt is not synonymous with black, thats what I'm trying to say.
