a roach is the end of the joint. you know when it is too small to hit so then you just put it out. that is the roach.

Roaches are wonderful though .. any true joint smoker/roller , hoards their collection of roaches...when ones stash is kicked (like a bowl) the smoker would thus consult the magic roach collection and with scissors and cut up all that sweet compressed resinated weed from their paper cacoons.

The true jointsmoker would then re-roll the "shake" and resmoke it..

I however smoke roaches individually in my bowl..
its much easier that way.. by the end of ur stash ur itchin for more so I dont like to wait n roll

second generation joints are the best. i hardly ever keep roaches, though,id rather just smoke it down to my fingertips

Roaches are also rolled up pieces of card which go in the end of joints as you roll them. This prevents burned fingers, gives you something to prevent the joint from sloppifying itself, supports the joint, and can be rerolled into joints repeatedly. I've got a few joints with 5th generation roaches. Not bad.

no.. roaches are the ends of joints. .not the paper or cardboard used to hold them

Sorry, chum, but they're both. Unless you have another word for the paper or cardboard rolled into the joints, people refer to them both as roaches. You only want to smoke one kind, though .

I've collected blunt roaches for a month one time and had the fattest blunt of roach weed ever, it tasted like ASS but got us baked before it was even half done. That's the only thing about roach weed, it smells and tastes like ass. But yeah, I collect them in my ashtray in my car and when I run out, I know I got at least a nice hog leg in the tray that smells like ass, but will get me good 'n high.

i always called the rolled up paper or cardboard a crutch not a roach.when i was in canada we rolled a 3rd gen roach joint that was all chronic.we got so lit off one puff it amazed the hell outta us

The cardboard thing I have done. Never knew what it was called. Ineresting!!! You learn something new everyday or at least every other day!
