| If you'll notice there is a slight difference between the pipes. Both are bubblers and smoke in the same fashion. As opposed to Hammers which feature a bowl at the end of the pipe, The bowl and well of a sidecar is adjacent on either the left or right side. Look at the picture. The sidecar's pipe is nearly 3/4 inch longer because the adjacent bowl allows for more room. As far as practical puffing, I'm not sure if the sidecar holds any rank above a Hammer. I'm not sure if it matters, but the sidecars unique design allows the smoke to travel from the well, to an entirely seperate pipe. I have one of each, and from my experience the Hammer can pull quite a bit of water in the pipe if you get crazy (which we do.) and get in your mouth. Our sidecar however, has never done that. But maybye you should ask a scientist. |

| I got stoned while replying above. I re visted the site and I'm confused. They have three categories of "hammers" "bubblers" and "sidecars" a bubbler can be a sidecar or a hammer in design, the bubbler just means it uses water. So do the links to sidecar and hammer mean they don't use water because they are seperate from the bubbler section? * The administrators might consider further refrence to the site as commerical endorsement, but i suggest this one: http://shop.grasscity.com/shop/grasscity/6092.html I want to know which one you pick. |

| man i am really confused, so hammers, bubblers and sidecars all use water? i have only used/seen one just once but i didnt know what it was. well i got 3 weeks untill payday to figure it out. anyone know the difference between the 3? oh yeah that one that you suggested is awesome, but it is a little pricey. its irratating because i cant see it in person so i dont know how thick the glass is. i will post picks of the one that i get. it will be a while tho because i dont get paid for like 2 more weeks. if i cant find anything local i might just go ahead and get one of those. i dont have a credit card or anything so if i order from there i would have to send money in and it would take forever. |

| My friend has a sidecar. I just like it cause it almost fits perfectly in your hand, and it isn't a struggle to see when your blazing. It's just to the side, out of your way. It's funky doodles. ![]()

| I just got back from the headshop with a nice, chill sidecar bubbler for 20 bucks. I was wondering if sidecars had any advantages over regular bubblers ? |

| Some people think they look better...functionality...sherlocks are probably the most functional. You can see the whole bowl as you light. |

| I thought a sidecar was one of those things attached to the side of a motorbike so it can hold an extra passenger.
