spiff, thats exactly what a pinner is. when theyre done on purpose, its just cruel. ive made pinners, but never on purpose.




newb, theres planty of ways to "properly" roll a j. of course, there is also plenty of ways to improperly rol one, too, as u can see by my thoughts on pinners. for beginners, id suggest to make sure your doing it over a large, smooth flat surface, preferably with a slight lip, like the lip of a milk jug cap (obviously the suface should be bigger then a milk jug cap, but the lip of the surface shouldnt). make sure you have enough bud broken up for a huge fattie. granted, you wont end up with a fattie, but in the learning phase, its better to break up more bud then youll need. those are the only two semi-universal tips id give to any learner, but thats only because rolling methods can vary.

the way i like to roll is to soften up the paper with some "dry" rolls. first i use my thumbs and middle fingers to lightly roll the paper around my index fingers (think chinese fingertraps). after that, i check to see if its softened enough by trying to rub it against itself in a rolling motion (not actually rolling it, just using the same up/down motion) if i can do this smoothly, then i put my bud on the paper and roll it around a bit (using the same rolling motion as before) over the surface. dont worry if any weed falls out, its ok so long as u have enough to roll something that would even vaguely resemble a j- the surface will catch the rest, and theres no need to wast wat falls out. i find it easier to roll with my fingers at the ends of the paper instead of the middle, since it tends to trap the weed in the midle, instead of pushing it out from the middle. once the weed begins to clump together in the desired shape, lightly fold (dont crease) the ungummed side just enough to cover the weed, then roll (this is the part that takes the most practice, and is hard to describe. watch a friend to get an idea how to do this part, then practice yourself) and seal. pick up one end with some tweezers and twist that end until it tight enough to keep the weed in. then i take a matchstick and pack all that weed in as tight as i can. put the loose weed into the open end (its ok if some doesnt get into the open end, just pick it back up and put it back in there) until the j is filled to the end. pack it againm and put more loose weed into the open end. continue this proccess a time or two, then loosen the twisted end a little bit, to make room for more weed. continue packing, filling and untwisting until your joint is just right.

remember, this is an art form, the desired results vary, even if only slightly, from person to person. it may be hard to combine tightness with large size, but unless youre trying, its just as hard to combine looseness with small size.

Maybe someone should add a section on how to act when the cops come etc. I'be always been taught to throw all my pipes as far as I can, even if the cop is staring at you. If they can't find it, then they can never really prove that you had anything.

ummm, more likely you will get charged with tampering with evidence if he is looking right at you and you throw your stuff. and it would be pretty easy for them to get a dog out there sniffing around..

only time you'll ever be badly pinned for anything is if your are found in posession. posession aint a 100 yards from the scene. it aint even fingerprints on a ****ing bag, man.

i'd also add that if you make a tit out of yourself runnig, make sure you don't get caught. there's only one thing that can piss a fat man of more than making him run, and that's making run in a tight uniform

not all cops are fat though. the ones that aint are usually ****ing sadist bastards instead, so the law is a "****ed if you do, ****ed if you dont" situation. the only worse **** is paranoia, and usually it'll be that that ****s you up.

only problem with throwing the pipe 100 yards is..................... pipes are expensive. and glass breaks easily. youll end up paying quite a bit of money for a new pipe.

not to mention, if your stoned, youll have to pay quite a bit of money for a new window, too.

me personally? id save my money and energy by simply telling the pi........... i mean, cops................ that i will not agree to a search. if they question my reasons, ill simply tell them the truth- i feel its an invasion of my privacy and im not doing anything wrong.

^theres only one serious flaw with that line of reasoning....by refusing a search, you're taking a gamble on wether or not the cop will call a canine unit in. They don't have to have probabe cause to do so, and you'll be just as screwed as you would be if you consented to a search in the first place. Personally, given the choice/option, I'd rid myself of any evidence if at all possible. Yeah, a pipe may be an expensive item to replace, but it sure beats getting hauled off in the back of a squad car. Personally, I'm the type to leave any and all smoking untensils at home, under normal circumstances. If I feel the need or desire to smoke while on the road, I'll roll a joint or two......my basic rule for traveling is if you cant eat it, dont bring it. Such advice has saved my arse on more than one occasion.

However, just throwing a pipe while a cop is looking at you is horrible advice. You WILL be charged for the pipe if its located. Yes, it may not be in your possession at the moment, but if a cop sees you throw it, it just as well be. If it was seen in your posession, it just as well BE in your possession. Simply tossing a pipe, in plain view of an officer, isn't going to save you frombeing charged, you can believe that. There are a multitude of circumstances where you can be charged with "possession" even if its not under your direct control. The only time i would toss something is if it could be done discretely, without the cops knowledge. if he sees you toss something, and its located, only a fool would believe that you'd somehow be let off. Posssesion, in the legal sense, doesn't require it to be within your IMMEDIATE control.

if i were somewhere other then my house- yes. id agree with you.

however, if you refuse a search, they cant take the dogs in. if they ask to search your house, they dont have a warrant, and cant do anything w/o your permission. that includes dogs.

I'm sorry....I was mistakenly assuming you were referring to a vheicle...in the case of homes/private residences, you are correct.

One thing I would like to add in terms of ettiquette. First off if you are socialsing in someone's home, smoking pot or not, always ask what the house rules are and stick to them, and if your not sure whether it's okay to do something ask. Conversly if you are having people over give some forethought to some basic rules, what you don't want people to do etc. This can save you a major headache down the road.
