If he was refering to his weed and said "Potluck", it ment he had a bag/stash with multiple types of weed in it all mixed together. I've heard this called a salad before as well. Atleast in my group.

Me, I like to keep all my different buds seperate. Hehe, I have severel different little stash jars and one big one.
