I feel deprived because I had never heard of mids before coming here. Where Im at dank just means pot in general. Bad weed is pretty hard to find, but then again Im not looking. There only time I smoked weed that had seeds in it was a friends homegrown (outdoor) ah cornelius....

I use, or I should say don't use, schwag/garbage for crap weed; regs for a step above that, still pretty crappy but green and smokeable; beasters for "dank" mersh weed, sinse, resembles good pot but it's heavy with moisture, has a grassy odor, is shaggy from lack of manicuring and usually very hairy; mids for all around decent buds, low seed count, some stickiness and possibly trichomes; dank/kb/goodness for good sinse, good trichome count, well manicured; headies for top notch chronic, sugar coated, properly dried, cured, handled, good genetics, the whole package.

Mids can be a great value. They don't get the big bucks like goodness or headies but pack a good thc/$$$ ratio.

It's hard to define pot with somewhere from three to five-ish different names when there's a very wide spectrum of qualities of bud. What you get as one bag of dank may be more potent than another bag of dank.

I only say kindbud when it's weed that produces a one-hit-high, though sometimes I'll stretch it and say two to three (like the shit we had last night) to allow for creeper (cuz we did get REALLY ripped from a less-than-average amount of pot).

Dank refers to pot that's been taken care of, breaks apart easily, crystals, orange hairs etc etc.

In my opinion, you should never pay more than 50 bucks an 1/8 for either of those, though I do understand that economics vary by region for various reasons. Paying more is sometimes worth it when you know you can get some funky strain, like the bubblegum we're getting today, though I would have a really hard time paying more than 60 bucks for anything.

Mids, or midgrade as someone got me to start saying, is shit that either was in a larger operation and therefor was less-taken care of, or was dank at one point but over the course of making its way down to the end consumer got compressed. It'll get ya high, but the high isn't as smooth and doesn't last as long. The latter, to me, is a much better indicator of the quality of weed - the longer I stay buzzed and the more chilled out I feel the next day, the better that bud was. Mids to me is somewhere between 30 and 50 bucks, usually around 35-40. I've gotten bags of midgrade though that cost 20 bucks, but that was cuz this guy said he could get two tracks, but then started running into his reserved bag, so he hooked up a bag for the money I had given him, but instead of two tracks of midgrade, he gave me closer to four.

Schwag, shit, brickweed, dirtweed, whatever you wanna call it, is usually brown, compressed to the max, no crystals to be seen, a seed obstacle course, almost makes you not want to smoke anymore. I would never pay more than 20 dollars an 1/8 of schwag, and even at that, I'd consider not buying it and just waiting until something better came along.

The problem with saying regs, or regulars, is that it's extremely subjective. Last winter, if I had said regs, it would have meant the most bomb ass KB you've ever seen. A month ago, it would have been midgrade. To me it's whatever is coming through your area most of the time, or what's most readily available.

Cool, I was wondering what you guys meant by mids.

At college(Texas Tech University), I got stuff with seeds only once in just under two years of smoking. I prefer dro, but I'll smoke some schwag if I'm short on cash and need some to last me.

And the way I've heard it pronounced, I thought kind bud was spelled kine bud.
