Okay, so I'm not new to this in any way, shape or form in the sense that I have been smoking for about two and a half years, but for the longest time I never heard a lot of variety in terminology. Lately though, there have been a few phrases that I didn't know what they meant. The one in particular that I have spent waaaay to much time wondering about was that people seem to have specific names for different hits. I already knew that the first hit is known as the green hit, but what are the others called? I've heard people call "tations" before, and I have no idea what that means. Could someone please fill me in?

First of all, welcome to the site. Different groups of stoners have different words for different things. I'm guessing when someone calls "tations" they want the rotation going towards them. Correct me if I'm wrong though. But I think I'll move this over to glossary of terms.

I have never heard tations before...hahahaha sounds kinda funny actually. Around here people call second hit by saying "deuce". I just like the whole everybodys sitting back, somebody sparks up and it just goes around. A few people I know contstantly keep watch over the group to make sure they can call seconds. Kinda pisses me off when as I'm pulling my bowl and weed out of my pocket I just randomly here "I got deuce!" from somebody...grrr.../end rant

We just call the first greens, then someone will call 2nds, then someone will call next and so on until the cycle is created.

Most of the smoking around here goes down... in my living room. So, im sitting in the recliner and whoever is on the love seat, gets second hit... everyone knows it, whoever gets there first gets second hit.

Whenever i smoke with my smokin buddy's. its always either joints or blunts. Hardly ever bongs or bowls. But i know what you mean by green hit, never heard of "tations" tho.
