i consider myself to be a pothead and stoner and i'll tell anyone cuz i wear my weed badge proud i dont care wat anyone thinks because i smoke weed so it jus doesnt matter wat anyone thinks

Pothead has negitive connotations. While not nearly as offensive as the N-word it's kinnda the same thing...When a smoker uses it I dont get offended, but when a non smoker usees it I kinda do get offended. It's our word!!! Lol

The word never really bothered me...but while reading your post, the mRs mentioned that she DOES hate it when a non-smoker uses it.

"It's our word!!!" Yeah...I like that!

There's a narration at the beginning of the documentary 'Grass'...at about 1:03 into the video, where the speaker (a famous evangelist, I think) delivers the word with SO much gusto! (for lack of a better word)

I prefer to be called a smoker, just because it sounds more responsible and appealing. Plus "stoners" and "potheads" are always looked down upon for some reason when mentioned. Its like the idea of smoking all the time that are associated with potheads and stoners. "Smokers" can smoke weed too BUT i smoke everyday too lol sooooo idk if im a pothead

even though i smoke regularly, i still think of pothead as a negative term. when i call someone a pothead, it's always someone who is constantly stoned, doesn't go to school or have a job, and if they have a job they go to work stoned, and who brags about smoking like it's a big deal. i think a pothead is someone who gets stoned at inappropriate times or inappropriate places. i mean it's not hard for me or many of my friends to study hard, go to work, and then smoke in our free time AT HOME WHERE WE WON'T GET ARRESTED.
