...well, at least I call it a carb. Its the little hole on the side or whatever of a bowl and sometimes an acrylic bong. I've heard it called a "rush", a "shotgun", and a few other things that I can't remember. I always learned it as a carb because of the carbon dioxide you let in and out quickly by putting your finger over it and taking it off repetively...

what do you call it?

this will get closed but i always used carb as short for carburetor, because it does the same function. i have also seen in police type situations where they busted people for selling glass somehow, they listed pipes with carbs as carburetor pipes

I call them carbs and carb being short for carburetor, a device for regulating air mixtures, and not for carbon dioxide.

In newer pipes sometimes they can be called fuel injectors!
