I think both are terms for higher quality buds, typically. Dro is bud grown in hydroponics and Ses is short for Sinsemilla or a pure female flower, unfertilized, no seeds.

Cess is schwag. Possibly a reference to a "cesspool." At least around here and I believe Snoop Dogg has a song that refers to it as well.. something like "Don't smoke cess, you are what you smoke.."

Easy E also used the word in a song.. "I still express, yo I don't smoke weed or cess."

Again, never heard it used that way....just "sess" as in sensimillia. I've heard STRESS used to describe low quality weed, but NEVER "cess" or "sess"

These are "write-in" definitions, so it's not the world of Webster, but more people than not have defined Cess as shitty weed.

I'm all out here on the east coast, and we never hear "dro" nor "sess." You hear dro every now and then, but when people are trying to talk up their hydrophonically-grown buds, they are more likely to say "hydro" than "dro."

I've literally never seen sess before until this thread, but I was guessing it was short for sensemilla, and then TM just verified it, kinda.

Depends on where you live I guess. I'm sure that a place doesn't use BOTH cess and sess to define good/bad weed. Imagine the confusion

first off, whats with you elitist pratts hating on any herb at all ? god gave it and I am grateful for it - I know that the quality and variety of the buzz can be a little inconsistent out there and you folks have the right to avoid anything that doesnt meet up to your re-cycled techno hippy Starbuckian worldview standards- but really --why dont you just shut your fat canna-stentorian gobyaps?-- you dont deserve plant you extoll . My d'yer makin buddy Rollo turned me on to some of his ses recently -- definately a different stone- but certainly not substandard-- I asked him why he choses this less photogenic and less savoury variety over much more easily obtained green and fragrant strains- his reply was of equal parts nostalgia and a desire to avoid the "Babylonic burnout" that "dro" produces for him after about a week.
