I am trying to make a pipe out of a porkupine needle, but I need some help. First, it is mission impossible to get it hollowed out, secound, what can I use for a bowl? My pipe would look great if I can mae it, but it is prooving pretty hard, does anyone have any advice?


Edit: Scratch that, I can hollowed it out (even though it took me like 4 hours.), but now for the bowl... I was thinking maby just make one out of foil, but I want something more creative.

A pipe out of a porcupine quill? You must be nuts!!!

I've seen hundreds of porcupines (both dead and alive) because of where I live. To be honest I don't think you could make a functional pipe out of a quill....

aren't those very thin? how'd you hollow it out?

no you get a couple of thick ones. I just stuck sticks through it (took me hours, and millions of sticks.) and eventually I hollowed it out. I tried to smoke with a foil bowl (I used mint not to waist any good marijuana.) and it worked. BTW Thanks for the seashell idea, it is PERFECT for me. I surf almost every day and I could really identify with the seashell.

I finished my new pipe. It is the first pipe I ever made, and the first pipe I own. I feel that I am lucky to have this pipe as my first pipe. Here is some pics (they are a bit crap since it is taken by my phone, in actual life it looks soooo much better.):

So, what do you think. This is my very first pipe, and the first one I made, and beleave me, I like it.

I smoked some potpourri. (I just wanted to feel how it smokes.) And it smokes good, but the potpourri was shit as hell, gave me an headache, and tasted like shit, now my pipe smells like lavander potpourri...
I can't wait to get a gram, but my dealer is all out. I was going to get a gram in a couple of days but I am going to vacation, so I would have to find some weed there. If I can't find I am going to test it in 2 weeks.
