Got a glass pipe,
its a great pipe

I'm not sure...but given the fact that glass pipes are baked (no pun intended ) in a kiln before they're ready to smoke, I'd say it might be difficult to get it back to a workable state.

I could be wrong though...just my

But for $8 bucks for a $100 pipe, I think I could overlook the chip...unless of course you end up with a bloody finger!

There are clear acrylic resin products that are used to repair glass.
You commonly see them incorporated as part of a repair to a small chip in a car's windshield.
Go online and see what you can find.
But, as Feorge pointed out, if it's sharp edges your concerned about then that's another matter.

If it were me I'd buy a piece of emery cloth - 80 grit - and give it a quick sand. Won't take long and you can find it any any decent hardware store...

this may be a terrible idea and i wouldnt try it until someone with more pot smoking experience okays it, but perhaps since it is just the carb, you could throw some jb weld on there to smooth it out. it would look ugly but its only on a small area of the pipe, and it would work (if the chemicals couldnt mess you up)

i dont know if the carb is too close to the pipe that the heat would get to the bond and you would inhale chemicals or not, but if it would work, then i think it would work... if that makes sense
