I dislike a grinder if the person doing the grinding doesn't clean the herb first. I don't like seeds and stems. They give me a headache. A grinder can be a great tool for someone that just dumps the herb in and grinds away.

I just like to clean it first. I don't care if it's cut up, hell I used to scissor it if I couldn't break it up too easy.......

I will usually cut the weed with scissors to remove the stems and seed if they are there. Then take that bud and put it in the grinder for a few turns and then you have perfect ground up bud

MotherofEight It sounds like grinders have treated you wrong in the past. But if you invest in a decent one they make great tools. Never had but get stuck in it where I couldn't remove it.

I got a grinder that looks like a wand. It has guards on the end around a rotating blade... whenever you "push down" on the bud with it, the guards go back and the "bud" is turned into "shake" =)

How much you have to break up your buds also depends on the quality. If it is Fluffly enough (usually very good bud) you dont need to break it up much. The majority of weed that needs to be broken to a light shake is bricked out buds, in the US mostly imported from mexico... if you are buying something that wasn't bricked out; yay. If the bud seems hard and is really dense most likely it was made into bricks. Also, the more you break up weed, not only the better it burns, but you do get more of a high... becuase if you stick a big nug in a bowl and light it up it really won't burn as nice as some ground bud. (and thus you get Less smoke & THC)

yea the bud have now is really really hard, harder then i ever had it, so i thought tht it would suck but it was pretty good weed, so i didnt really care.

I once bought some bricked out purple for $8 per g.(he didn't have any scales lol! did it by eye) I bought what was "10 grams" for $80, went home and weighed it; WALA! barely over 17 grams

Good weed isn't always fluffy. I started awhile back looking for Crystal size instead of color/hardness, how sticky a nug is and how many crystals it has are really good ways to tell, not how dense it is or how green it is.(in the case of good: Brown, Purple, Pink, White, Orange, Red, Yellow, etc. weed)

I started him smoking though. He kinda ows me but good point. My other friend who helps me out says 7g for $100. Alot more then the supposed "10g" for $80 that was actually 17g... I gotta say it though, i'd pick the 7g for $100. Thai stick is amazing He is almost out though; fucking pisses me off >.<

lol just listening to tht makes me think how much money iv been spendin before i got my friends to buy mine with their money so in a way im lucky cuz, m friends got alot of money and buys all my weed!!!

How much weed I have depends on how much i've been working. I make $27/h, so $5/h goes to weed. 40h+usually about 6 hours of overtime with a rate of x1.5, and that makes 40hx$5/h+overtime. That's only like three bags(from 7-10g each) a month... (I know I could just buy a larger bag... but wth, 3x8.5g avg.(about $240); 26.5g a month... compaired to a half and a quarter for $220, aka 21g.)though if i'm smoking someone else is, and we all throw equal in for anything if we are smoking unless someone doesn't have some, which is usually never becuase we all smoke together. And if one doesn't have weed, money buys weed hopefully some day it will be where weed IF NEEDED for a SERIOUS reason, you could get weed. Without money. Would be nice, but it's seeming like it's not going to happen.


I do love "throwing down" on blunts and bowls becuase of the effects of more people. With 1 other person, you smoke equal to what is smoked with you(half your weed, half of your buddies); but if you are smart, and you find 5 people, for every bowl that you throw down you smoke 5 other ones. if someone says the fact on how you only get 1/6th of the bowlx6 bowls=1bowl. But I say FUCK, we don't buy shwag! I'd rather smoke 1/6th a bowl of Orange, 1/6th a bowl of Thai stick, 1/6th a bowl of "mystery" dank, 1/6th a bowl of Blueberry, 1/6th a bowl of Strawberry & 1/6th a bowl of Medical than 1 bowl of thai stick!(with my friends, no less)
