If your parents confiscate all your pipes, you have a number of choices...

1) Keep wasting money on expensive pipes just to get them taken.
2) Stop buying pipes and roll joints
3) Buy cheap pipes or easily concealable pipes
4) Convince your parents to stop taking your pipes

Joints

Pros: I find to get a different high.
More secretive, easier to hold on you.
Cons: You have to inhale the paper's smoke :P
Some people like to slobber them up.

Pipes

Pros: Some are really sexy. Mhmm.
One word. RESIN.
You don't have to inhale the paper smoke.
Cons: You can't go out and start hitting a pipe, sorta obvious.

I probably missed some cons and pros of both, but I'm really tired, so meh. :P

seeing as how i am sort of new to this, why is resin good? u mean the stuff that is sitting in my pipe, the jet black gross stuff?

What is good about resin? can u smoke it or somethin?

Yeah you can, Freakawho. It is very common for people to do so.

For me personally though.. I'd rather not smoke than smoke nasty ass resin.

how do you smoke the resin...u somehow get it out of your pipe, and then repack it in your pipe?

scrape it out and roll it into balls... they burn for a long time so if you packed like 4-5 balls the size of bb's you could smoke with a friend for a good 10min out of a bong...

a bowl i would say. and hey, you
look prety cool with a joint also.

ya....and plus you dont gota keep
lighting the joint like a bowl. but then
again, i like bowls too. a big reason
bowls are so great is becus there
is a sentimental value with a nice bowl of
your own. you get to name it, watch it change
colors(if it does), and play around with it

o ya, and you get pull it out of your pocket and do a little flip with it like a cowboy, then when you catch it put it to ur mouth fast and u look like a cool pothead cowboy in a smoke-out.

It is nice to have both. Joints if your going out and don't wanna bring a pipe, nice for concerts and such. Pipes, nice at home, and going to friends house. Get a lot of weed saved, and it's pretty sweet.
