Yeah I mostly use pipes, but in your situation since you say you are careless I would recomend joints. Your dad probably wont find them and if he sees one he wont find the rest.

If I were you, I would buy a few feet of vinyl tubing. Every time you smoke, cut out a piece of tubing and put a socket on the end. I used to do that all the time. It was great because I could throw it away if I needed to and the hits were still great. When I was 16, I went through like 15 feet of tubing every three months.

the black one in the middle, over here in Mexico they sell for like 3 bucks, and you can pack around one joint inside, and take as many tokes as you want, and save the rest. No more wasting weed, the only smoke that comes out is the one coming from inside of you hehe.
They're really cost effective and really easy to hide! They do get a little hot, but it's ok, just take a hit, wait 30 secs, then take the other and so on...

go with a bowl a joint breaks burns faster you cant do how ever much you want and in the longer run a pipe is cheaper cuz you gotta constantly buy papers plus you get res with a bowl.you dont have to bwe as careful but concert pipes r the best there extremely thick glass and there always around your neck if you get a pocket search it wont be found but if you do get a glass pipe get red eye glass it doesnt waste thc

Here's what I like about each. First, joints. Like one of the earlier posters said...they're just a lot of fun. Once you learn to roll joints well, you'll actually have a fun time rolling them. They're really social, easy to conceal, and IMO produce the smoothest smoke of any joint-rolling technique. I know I'm gunna catch some flack for saying that...but a nice, tight joint will (in my opinion) be smoother than almost any other smoking method. I have smoked a few bongs that are smoother, but nothing else. The smoke from a joint gets smoother and smoother the tighter and tighter you get them. Pipes are really cool to have if you have somewhere where you can smoke them regularly. Every stoner I hang out with in college has at least a small spoon in their car. They can produce thick smoke, conserve marijuana, and IMO get you higher than joints. The big thing you have to consider here is if you get caught (as you seem to), would you rather replace a $40+ pipe, or a $3 pack of zigzags? Personally, this is what I would do. I saw someone earlier mention getting a nice, thick chillum, and it gave me an idea. You should make a little kit like the one I have. I have this little tin, and inside I keep everything I need to smoke in a pinch. First, I have rolling papers and a 78mm roller (I can roll some pretty nice joints...but like I said...I usually use this kit when I don't have much time or whatever). To light it, I keep a small lighter in there too. I also have a pair of tweezers and a bobby pin in there to use as roach clips. The bobby pin's back end also works really well for sweeping ash out of bowls. Then, for when the roaches get too short to smoke without burning your lips, I have two nice, thick chillums and I pull one out, empty the roach in it, and smoke what's left in a chillum. I have two in case I'm smoking a joint with a friend. If you're interested, I could post pictures of what I use.

I smoke joints nearly 80% of the time, 20% of the time is pipes/bongs or whatever else. Joints do use more weed but smoke quite slowly so you can get a longer high. One downside to it is since you're suspicious to your dad joints might be bad. Reason being is that joints tend to leave the marijuana scent way more heavily, just as if you were to smoke a cigarette ( or be near someone who has smoked cigs ) it just leaves an odor. Try to buy a pipe called the sneak - a - toke. It is very small, about the size of a regular bowl with a small chamber under it + the mouth piece. Pipes collect resin so if you had a rainy day full of no smoke then you could always scrape the resin. Thank god both my dad and mom smoke weed so I never had any problems with my pipes getting taken up. Also to save money you could always just buy a water bottle and turn it into a bong. Usually just need a lighter, the bottle, either foil or something else for the male piece + bowl.

But it comes down to the stuff you have. I mean, if its good stuff and a little sticky, joints dont work. Ive found when rolling sticky stuff it rolls tighter and its harder to smoke (pipes are my choice here). When its still good stuff but not as sticky, joints are tops. It burns just right, not to fast, but it doesnt go out all the time.

if you are talking about money, Joints are cheap in the short run, over time, a bowl will pay for itself.

that being said, I enjoy them for different purposes. Late night, smoking out of my bedroom, I will smoke my glass pipe. If I am going aroud in the car, then I roll a j. An afternoon chill session on the beach is best done with a J.

I guess when it comes down to it, J's give me a better experience, but with a high cost in weed. Pipes are great, but they arn't as cool.

There isn't much cooler than chillin in my poolhouse next to the beach and passing 3 joints around a group of 4. Pipes don't make that kinda vibe. BUt if you wanna get fucked up, pipes kick ass

Just saw Manswers...a joint only delivers 28% (I think) of the THC in marijuana (probably because it's burning constantly), a bong gets 80 something percent, and a vape gets 90 something. I still prefer joints.
